Serena and Adam’s Sister Bar engagement session in Albuquerque, New Mexico was, well, absolutely perfect. Sister Bar is my favorite bar, filled with many years of good memories for myself and my friends so it only felt perfectly serendipitous that Serena and Adam were open to having their engagement session there for their fun city engagement session.
When we started planning their engagement session, I asked Serena and Adam what they wanted to do for their Albuquerque engagement session, and they said they envisioned themselves, “sitting in a photo booth, playing pool, dancing, laughing, sitting in a booth at the bar with a drink,” and I immediately thought of Sister Bar. Sister had just recently added a vintage-style photo booth and with their delicious and unique craft cocktails, I felt inspired to suggest its location for Serena and Adam’s engagement session. The two were immediately excited about having their engagement session at Sister Bar and I was immediately thrilled I was going to photograph them at my favorite local haunt.
