While I only lived in Denver for a little over two years, I was able to enjoy a handful of restaurants, bars, museums, and galleries that showcased the true beauty of the Mile High City. If you’re an artist or someone who loves experiencing art and culture, the Denver Center of Performing Arts, the Denver Art Museum, Meow Wolf, and the Museum of Contemporary Art are some of my all-time favorite locations to suggest to couples looking for a unique and artistic engagement session. After your engagement session, I recommend heading to a romantic restaurant, such as Barcelona Wine Bar, Bistro Vendôme, or Rioja. If you’re looking for a unique bar setting, places such as Terminal Bar inside Union Station or Poka Lola Social Club, both of which were locations where this Downtown Denver engagement session took place, are but only two amazing bars that are sure to provide you with a romantic evening in Downtown Denver.Â
Before booking your engagement session at an art gallery or museum, I recommend coordinating with the location’s event coordinator in advance and arrange for a private viewing before it officially opens to the public. This allows you and your partner to have immense privacy for your session, creating a truly romantic Denver engagement experience. Please note that there may be a fee involved so booking a few months in advance is highly recommended.
If you and your partner are more adventurous, I’d recommend something like a hot air balloon ride engagement session. Denver’s surrounding areas offer breathtaking mountain and valley landscapes, and experiencing them from high above in a hot air balloon is sure to provide you with an unforgettable engagement experience. If you want a mellow or adventurous hiking engagement session, similar to this one, there are numerous outdoor locations surrounding Denver that will suit your style.
