A dreamy escape to the San Juan Mountains near Silverton, Colorado was the perfect adventure for Monia & Kyle’s intimate San Juan Mountains elopement that included stunning mountain views and fall-colored vistas.
Their San Juan Mountains elopement began at Crystal Lake, tucked between Ouray and Silverton, Colorado. The three of us hiked into a breathtaking aspen grove, where they got dressed separately, taking in the serene autumn beauty of their surroundings. Once ready, they shared a heartfelt first look on the lake’s shore, framed by the vibrant fall foliage. Afterward, Monia and Kyle included their two beloved pups for some intimate portraits at the lake before we ventured deeper into the mountains along the scenic road near Corkscrew Gulch. The warm golden sunlight of early autumn made the day even more magical, perfectly highlighting the beauty of their Silverton elopement.
Overlook Vow Exchange
As we ascended the mountainous road, Monia and Kyle found an incredible overlook that served as the ideal spot for their vow exchange. Navigating the challenging parking on the mountainside, they retrieved their vow books and stood at the overlook, sharing intimate vows against the backdrop of the majestic San Juan Mountains. I photographed this intimate moment from a respectful distance, ensuring their San Juan Mountains elopement was as private and personal as possible. Afterward, I guided them through gentle poses for their wedding portraits, focusing on their unique connection and ensuring the photos captured their true and authentic romance.
To conclude their dreamy San Juan Mountains elopement, we continued our adventure deeper into the mountains for a cozy picnic as the sun began to set. Surrounded by towering peaks and the golden glow of the setting sun, Monia and Kyle cut their elegant white cake, toasted with champagne, and ended the day with intimate wedding portraits, making their elopement an unforgettable experience.
