This Chicago engagement session occurred back in 2018 when Shawna and Joey flew me out to their home to photograph their romantic summer engagement session in downtown Chicago (and my, was that a trip to remember). It was my first time in Chicago and I drove through the city streets to get to their photo location, which was an adventure in and of itself with lots of car horns honking and plenty of nervous driving. It was a magical weekend, though, because it was spent with these two charming folks who have become good friends over the years. I’m forever thankful I had the chance to photograph their engagement session in the city that they love most <3
