two things I’ll forever be sure of, the sun will always fall for the moon, & I will always fall for you. — r.m. broderickI’ll be honest; I lived in Arizona for five years growing up and even though my family had traveled around the state visiting different scenic spots, I had never heard of the Biosphere 2 until Tierra reached out to me about hosting her wedding there and having me photograph it. My, what a gem of a place! It’s a gorgeous property dedicated to scientific research and education and it happened to be the place where Lon and Tierra first met. After asking for more information about this chance encounter during a school field trip, Tierra lovingly stated, “our eyes met, and the rest is history.” The two held an incredible Biosphere 2 wedding on a perfect March afternoon and to this day, it’s a wedding I look back on fondly. There is so much I could say about this wedding, from the delicate details in Tierra’s dress (which was an altered version of her mother-in-law’s wedding dress), to the way Tierra and Lon did an adorably cute choreographed dance for their first dance, I could honestly talk about this wedding for days. My words are failing me now but maybe these photos will somehow illustrate the beauty of this day, and not just the aesthetic beauty – the beauty of love, friendship, passion, and good music – and how magnificent every part of this day was. I will leave you with these pictures of two newlyweds, their loved ones, and the joy they shared on March 25th, 2017. & big thanks to Ashley Rose for being my car buddy and second shooting this wedding with me. Couldn’t have done it without you.
