There are a lot of places to elope in the Denver / Boulder area but a couple of my favorite places are Lost Gulch Overlook and Gross Reservoir. While Lost Gulch Overlook can get pretty busy with visitors from sunup to sundown (honestly – the only time I haven’t seen a million people here is an hour before the sun rises and even then, there are some brave souls who get there early for the spectacular mountain views), Gross Reservoir offered some respite from the crowds, along with such stunning mountain views. This Gross Reservoir elopement was amazingly sunny, absolutely stunning, and splendidly charming. Lisa and Danny only had two guests present for their ceremony (and a video camera to record for family and friends) and it was a perfectly intimate Boulder elopement.
