COVID-19 has spread far and wide over the past few weeks, giving way for a new way of life, one that I’m sure not many of us expected to have. I, personally, have experienced such highs and lows (although, more lows than highs lately). While a handful of my spring and summer weddings have postponed or been canceled, I’m hanging onto the hope that things will, in one way or another, return to “normal,” whatever that normal may look like.
Until then, I wanted to share with you a few things that have changed here at Ashley Joyce Photography:
WORKING REMOTELY, CONNECTING DIGITALLY
I am continuing to work normal business hours and using available resources to do my work remotely. I am hustling from home and am available to support you with the best-in-class service you’ve come to expect. Consultations are still occurring but have been moved to Zoom and Skype meetings to ensure the safety of everyone.
YOUR HEALTH COMES FIRST
I am encouraging everyone to wash their hands, socially distance, and follow best practices to protect the health and wellbeing of themselves, their family, and our community at large.
TAKING CARE OF ONE ANOTHER
I will be donating 5% of profits over the next month to my local food bank supporting vulnerable families who need food assistance and direct relief during this difficult time.
In addition to these steps, I will be monitoring the latest information including recommendations from the CDC and World Health Organization while doing my part to stop the spread of this virus.
The health and well-being of my clients and community are of utmost importance to me and will continue to be my north star as we navigate the road ahead.
CHANGE OF PLANS?
If your wedding was cancelled or altered due to COVID-19, please know that elopement dates are still available and I am more than happy to help you plan your intimate elopement. Even if you don’t have a new date yet, we can still get together (virtually!) and plan your dream elopement.
Contact me here for details.
Thank you for your steadfast support of my business, everyone. I can’t express how truly grateful I am.
