A sunrise Boulder proposal with 360 degree views of the Rocky Mountains and a golden sunrise? Yeah, sign me up.
Trenton contacted me last spring about surprising his girlfriend with a proposal during a photo session in Boulder and I was so excited to be a part of his secret plan. He gifted Danielle a photo session for their anniversary so it wouldn’t be so strange to have me awkwardly hiding behind the boulders to take photos of the proposal (and, let me tell you – I would have been pretty dang awkward trying to hide behind the trees that early in the morning on the edge of the mountain).
Before we initiated the official proposal, Danielle and Trenton sat on the edge of the mountainside, wrapped in a blanket as they watched the sun rise over the city and shine upon the mountain peaks. The golden light was dreamy and warm as birds started waking up, singing their morning songs to the world. When the time was right, I gave Trenton our secret code for him to get ready to get down on one knee. Luckily, Danielle was (or at least acted) quite surprised! At the same time, though, she came prepared – after Trenton proposed to her, she pulled out a ring from her pocked and proposed to him. It was too dang cute and I loved every second of it.
If you’re planning a Boulder proposal, let’s work together.
